Why?!?
The more toys DD has the less she wants to play!! All day all she has wanted to do was pull on my laptop screen, scream, cry, and eat! What about all of these toys?? LOL

DS is 3 and is the same way! he has a TON of toys, nothing interests him for more than a few times of playing with it!! And he like refuses to play by himself for more than a few minutes. Hes an only child, so its EXHAUSTING for us to always have to be playing with him!! and DH and I are always like "he's a kid- shouldn't he be in there tearing his room apart??"

DS just got about 25 new toys for Chanukah. Last night he entertained himself for about 45 minutes with a leaf from our house plant.

OMG, that's adorable and made me chuckle.
To the OP: DD is the same way. I think all kids are. My mom always said that kids get a nice toy in a box and they'd rather play with the box than the toy.
