who wants to join.....let's get in shape before the BFPs!
after going to friendly's for lunch....and splitting a box of kraft mac and cheese with DH for dinner....
i decided ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!
so i decided to lift some weights tonight, i didnt do much, just some upper body toning, but i have been SO lazy lately it is disgusting! so that is a lot for me!
i am going to try to do it at least 3 times a week, and since it is getting warmer out, DH and i can start to go for walks again after work
what are you doing to get yourself in shape before the BFP (or at least to attempt to...hopefully the BFP's will come soon!)
my plan is to continue to do light exercise once i get the BFP

I'll join! I'm doing Weight Watchers, slowly but stedily I'm losing. I plan to continue to eat right after a BFP but wanted to get into it before so it's not really a transition. I also want to start walking, anyone wanna join?!

I started dieting last week. Iam doing no carbs for 2 weeks. So Far I have lost 5lbs this 1st week. After this 2nd week I will maintain a Low carb diet until i reach my goal weight. I also will start going to the gym today. Iam so excited and proud of myself.
Lets go ladies we can do it!!

I'm in!!! I am breaking out and dusting off the good old 30 Day Shred DVD and going to try to do it 3 times a week. I have been SOOOOOO lazy this last month and have been totally eating my face off too and it shows. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!

I'm in!!! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and it was a real eye-opener about how unhealthy I've been for the past few years.I started the Insulin Resistance Diet about 2 weeks ago and even though I haven't weighed myself yet, my pants are looser
I also started doing my 30 day shred tape this past Saturday, I'm going to try to do it every other day.

GREAT!
so what did everyone have for lunch today??
i had a tuna (made with miracle whip) on whole wheat (trying to use up my tuna before i get preggo...hehe)
for breakfast i had a packet of instant oatmeal
so far so good....now lets see if that lasts into the evening!
we are planning on marinating chicken in a lime marinade(DH makes it) and making chicken soft tacos for dinner tonight...we bought light cheese to put on them and lettuce, tomatoes, onions, with whole wheat wraps...saffron rice as a side, and maybe a salad with the leftover lettuce and tomatoes

i have a slight stomach bug, but i am feeling better so i made whole grain toast with turkey and hummus.
i had ovaltine for breakfast to settle my belly.

breakfast- 1 cup nonfat greek yogurt, 1/2 low sugar granola bar, 1/2 cup blueberries- YUM!!
snack- one 2% cheese stick and 7 triscuits
lunch- peanut butter banana sandwich (1 slice whole wheat bread, peanut butter, and 1/2 banana)
dinner- broiled cod, salad, and brown rice

I recently joined weight watchers again.
Breakfast - Coffee, Bran flakes w/skim milk
Lunch - Steamed mixed veggies and Non-fat yogurt
Dinner - Grilled turkey breast, Sweet potato, Spinach satueed with 2 teaspoons evoo and garlic
I've actually decided to create a menu for the week and post it on the fridge so DH knows what I am making. If he doesn't like it I told him he is free to make his own dinner

i know this was months ago but i searched low carb diets and saw u were on one; how much did u lose and how long did it take you? i am starting this again after doing it once but falling off the badwagon. i want to lose as much as i can; i have like 40 to lose

I'm trying to eat mostly organic, and "clean", meaning no processed foods. This is tough!!! I am not completely clean but I'm trying to cut out as much processed as I can for normal days. I actually feel much better than I had been feeling for a while, stomach wise, and I think that it's just better and healthier to eat this way! I hope it lasts...

I think this is a great thread to start again.
I have been dieting for the past 3 months & down 13 lbs. I count my calories and bring a journal with me everywhere to write down everything I eat. I try to limit myself to 1500 calories or less a day but have 2 cheat meals a week. I love to lose more prior to my BFP!

I have been dieting for the past couple of months and I bought Wii Fit and have been doing that and yesterday I bought Wii Active-so we will see if that helps!

My PLAN was to try to lose 30-40 lbs before starting TTC. That went out the window and I think I've gained weight (holidays etc. and just never lost it). It's sad, really. But, DH and I are eating healthier and trying to be more active.

Jen, that is AMAAAAAAZING!!!!!!!! A number of years ago I lost 50+ lbs on WW. I can't seem to get back on it, but I really should!

13 lbs in 2 1/2 months? THat's WONDERFUL!!!!! When I did WW, I averaged 5 lbs each month (except the first month because I lost 5 lbs my very first week, but other than that, I was losing just over 1 lb per week). Congrats!!!

I'm with ya!
I'm a WWer. I'm a lifetime member and I go back and forth between maintaining at goal or up 3-5 lbs. Right now I'm a few lbs up. I'd like to get back to goal...or even a few lbs below (I set a high goal so I could stop paying asap) before getting pregnant.
I haven't been to a meeting since May, so I think I'm going to go to one this weekend. I have a 3-month journal but haven't been so good at tracking. Usually a meeting and an official weigh-in motivates me.
