At least now we know the story with Kate, how she got the baby...
So Jack's father is there with Claire, his daughter and jack's half sister. Hmmm
I thought this episode was a little boring, but the end was good.
Next week looks great!

Yes, I'm not sure if I think he's Jacob. He was also the guy that was talking to Natilie (I think that was her name, the girl who locke killed that came on the boat) who gave her the list of people that Whitmore wanted to recruit for this mission.
And what was with that Suddenly Susan Guy who never ages?? Such a bizzare episode!

I could swear John has used a knife in the past maybe thats why he failed. Last nights episode was spooky to me! How could Richard be there at John's birth!? And how are they going to move the island? Crazy!

The orderly was/is Matthew Abbadon. He seems to hold a lot of power, though whether he answers to a higher up or only himself remains to be seen.
The man in John's flashbacks is Richard Alpert, the "Hostile/Other" that never seems to age. He originally interacted with a young Ben prior to The Purge, and he also talked to post-crash John when John was asked to kill his father to prove himself. It seems that his role so far has been as a recruiter type, not necessarily a leader, but this is Lost, so anything can happen.

Right he is also the one that recruited Juliet onto the island too.

Sorry I'm late just watched it tonight. So did the island bring Jack & Claire's father back from the dead? Remember how in the first season Jack found his father's coffin in the reckage and it was empty.
Mr. guy who never ages is starting to creep me out.
