who has the least expensive party supplies?
We're having about 60 people for DD's first birthday & everything's adding up quick The theme is little miss sunshine & there's not much out there with her on it so I'm just going with plain yellow (unless I see something with a cute sun on it.) Where is the best place to buy plates, cups, napkins.... all that stuff? BJs ? or is an online place cheaper? I've been looking on line but haven't gotten to any stores yet.

If you just need solid yellow, what about Dollar Tree?

Just remember the dollar tree isn't always cheaper. My numbers are not accurate, but with the dollar tree 6-8 plates for $1 but sometimes you can get 50 plates for $4, the utensils at the dollar tree are cheap where for the most part one fork may equal 2-3 forks of a better quality (breakage).

I haven't bout these items recently but I know Walmart has some really great prices on things. I would check them out at least for some of the stuff you need.

I was thinking the same thing. I usually buy a lot of stuff from dollar tree but I think it would wind up being more $ since I need at least 60 of each thing. I'll give Walmart a try & oriental trading. Thanks!

Re: who has the least expensive party supplies?
Dollar tree is good for table cloths. I found for solid colored items Party City is pretty reasonable. They sell value packs of plates an napkins that always wind up cheaper than the dollar store and there's usually a coupon out there for a discount. As for the Knives, Forks and spoons we always buy the clear plastic big pack from BJ's or Sams. They go with everything!

I bought silver plastic utensils from BJ's and napkins ans plastic cups from Party City with a coupon. They were having a sale on the plastic cups when i bought them for buy get one free. So i got 100 cups for the price of 50 which was pretty cheap to begin with. Tablecloths i got at Party City too.
