Who are you having in the delivery room?
I have read about some ladies who are having a delivery team, while others are having just their husband. Who are you bringing into the delivery room with you? Who will stay for the birth?

With my first DC I had my husband and mother, this time I will only have my husband with me.

My DH and MIL. For my prior 2 pregnancies I had my DH and sister. Since this is our last, I want my MIL to be there since I know it means so much for her.

Just my husband.
Although they told us DD can tag along if we have no one to watch her. I was like "umm... what's my 21 m/o going to do in the delivery room??" but she'd probably just watch Blue's Clues on the ipad or talk to elmo on it the whole time. I don't want her to see mommy with wires and stuff though -- she'd probably be very upset. She doesn't even like when they doppler me at the OB's office!

With my first it was DH and my Mother, my mom is a nurse so i wanted her in there to watch what they were doing
With this one...im not sure. Definately DH idk if i want anyone else tho

I believe your DH can still be in the operating room with you as long as you don't have to be knocked out like in an emergency situation. I really hope so bc it looks like I'm going to end up with a csection and I really want my DH there with me.

Of course your DH can be in the OR with you. I had a c-section with my DD and they brought DH in right after they did the spinal and he was with me the entire time after that, even went I went into recovery. He never left my side. There is NO way I would've gone through that experience alone and there is NO way he would miss the birth of his child.
Maybe if there was a real life or death emergency and you had to be rushed in fast DH couldn't get in there in time but I would think 99% of the time, your DH will be able to be right by your side.

Who are you having in the delivery room?
Only my DH was in there along with like 3 nurses, 2 med students, my doc it was like a movie theatre down there. All modesty definitely leaves the building.

Crashing...
My mom and MIL were in L&D with us for 30 hours while I labored. We wanted them there with us. I ended up needing a C, so it was just me and DH.
I have a very close relationship with both my mom and MIL and wanted to give them that experience (the birth, not the uncomfortable wait). My MIL ended up seeing my boobs about 1 million times in the months after bc I was pumping. It was a joke that every time she came over they'd be out. I guess it all depends on your relationship and who you want to share the experience.
