I have both a white kitchen in my house and a dark wood. We have a 2 family home. I have to say I love them equally but white is harder to keep clean. I think its all about the backsplash and counter you use too. In our kitchen with the cherry wood cabinets we have light granite and light beige subway backsplash so its still light and bright in the kitchen.
