Re: white furniture
I want white furniture for my LO. I currently have white furniture in my own bedroom and I love it. I get that it may get dirtier, but it doesn't show dust compared to dark woods, and I don't really like light woods.

Re: white furniture
We just decided on white for the baby b/c it's so sweet for an infant/toddler. If it gets dirty, I'll clean it.

Re: white furniture
I had white furniture in my room growing up and got it for the baby's room. I don't think it gets any dirtier than dark colored furniture.
My dad had a piece of glass made to cover my desk and I am thinking of getting glass cut for the top of the dresser because we plan on using it for a changing table.

Re: white furniture
You can't win either way.
If you get dark furniture, it shows the dust more.

Re: white furniture
The set we picked out came in antique white and we both really liked it, but we went with the Espresso. I had white furniture as a baby too, but as I got older I remember not liking it. Our thought was that it may not be practical being that it has the convertible crib. As our LO gets older, I could see her not liking the white. JMO

Re: white furniture
I'm having a boy, so I elected to go with darker furniture. However, if I was having a girl I would have ordered white furniture in a heartbeat! I love it.

My son's cheaper white furniture is holding up better than my DD's expensive stained wood furniture!

I love white furniture for a baby's room! And dark definitely shows the dust way too much.
