I think everyone is going to say their own...I grew up in 8 and now live in 8, and have always been told that either 8 or 9 are the best..but honestly I never saw a difference...

I agree, I will say my own b/c that's what I experienced. I also grew up in 8 and my mom still lives there and I just love the oceanlea area and that school. But i've heard the others in oceanside are great too.

I think they're all good...we just moved out of School 3 which I was very happy with education-wise. Wasn't thrilled that they don't have a field for the kids to play on, but that's not the end of the world.
I also know a lot of people at School 5 and they love the school, if we were staying in Oceanside we probably would have looked to move into that zone.

I have a lot of family in the area, they got to schools 2 and 5 and I think 4. I student taught a few years ago at 8. They are all happy with few or no complaints.

School 9 is academically strong, but School 5 and School 2 are the ones where I think kids have a better experience overall. School 4 is pretty good too, it didn't pop into my head right away because they opened it as an elementary school after I already finished elementary.

I went to school 9 (a veryyyyyy long time ago lol) all the teachers that I had have since retired. I always remember my parents being happy with it.
We actually live in the house I grew up in but since School 4 has reopened I think that our LO will attend there.
Actually, does anyone know how to check which school you are zoned for?
