I like them both. With paige there isn't really a way to shorten it so everyone will probably call her paige.
With Sydney you might have people shorten it to Syd. - I personally don't mind that b/c that is what people called my grandma  But maybe will help you make a decision

I love both
But I think that Sydney is more popular so Paige might be more original.
(I have had quite few Sydney's in my day care and not one Paige)
