Which Formula did you use and why?
I'm due in july with #3. I had a very hard time bf'ing with both of my children...so I'm pretty sure I'm going to formula feed (I exclusively pumped for the 1st few months with DD and DS, but I'm pretty sure that will be very difficult to do now that I will have 3) so I'm pretty sure I will be formula feeding.
I know there is similac and Enfamil..are their any other others? Which did you all use?
DD and DS were both switched pretty early on to Alimentum...so I used that for most of the time.

Re: Which Formula did you use and why?
Target Up and Up brand, the one that is the same as Enfamil. It was SO much less costly than the name brands and it did the job!

Which Formula did you use and why?
DD1: Alimentum (a milk allergy- which she outgrew) DD2: Soy (the others were upsetting her tummy- had bad gas, etc)

Re: Which Formula did you use and why?
Similac Sensitive, but I've also used the babies r'us and stop and shop equivalent store brands. I've been using it from the beginning because DS always seemed so gassy on the Similac for supplementation (For the 1st 6 weeks I pumped and supplemented w/formula). He has never had an issue with the sensitive so I still use it.
ETA: I've also tried the CVS store brand equivalent but it made DS spit-up.

This! And unlike most generics it comes in SO many varieties.
We started on the regular, switched to the gentle, then had to switch to AR for reflux. They all worked great and were HALF the price.
FYI- generic formula by law has to be exactly the same as name brand.

Started out on regular similac and eventually ended up on alimentum. I am FF this time too and I'm sure will start out on similac and see how it goes.

We started DS on Enfamil but then had to change to Nutramigen.
Every baby is different. Just pick one and if you need to change, you'll figure out which makes your baby the happiest.

Which Formula did you use and why?
Enfamil Gentlease due to issues DS had and then switched to the Target Brand version once I realized how cheap it is.

We are using Enfamil Reguline, which unfortunately has no generic .. DD has problems with constipation and this is the only thing that helped.

Which Formula did you use and why?
Earth's best organic sensitive
Mainly bc we want them on organic and the sensitive is due to gassiness

Either enfamil or Similac - whichever the hospital was offering at the time I usually stuck with. I did switch to powder, though. I liked the consistency better.

I have DS on Similac. I had gotten samples and he did really well with it, so I stuck to it. Plus, if you sign up on the website they send you $5 off coupons all the time, and you can earn points that will get you more money off.

Which Formula did you use and why?
Similac- it's what the hospital used. After 3 months when DS was cleared to switch, we switched to generic powder (BRU brand because it dissolves nicely. Will do the same with DS2!

Re: Which Formula did you use and why?
Similac Blue in the hospital.
Fine.
Then, after about a month maybe two months on that he got all fussy.
So, we switched to Similac Sensitive (orange).
The doc suggested this. He was great from then on!
This was the liquid. We tried the powder since it is cheaper and DS could NOT tolerate the powder whatsoever. So, we went back to the liquid and ate Ramen Noodles

Same for me except I use the powder and liquid interchangeably. He has no issues with either. I also by gathering coupons and formula checks have never paid full price for a thing of formula. I even got a few bottles of ready to feed for free.

cheaper is better I used Target and walmart brands, stocked up on BRU coupons and used that for a bit too if it was cheaper.
Started out on Enfamil, went to Gentlease until over 6m then back to regular Enfamil. Back then I even got the Gentlease super cheap via ebay stores. Per oz cheaper than stores.
once that dried up I went to generics

Love Up & Up! Not just the cost but it doesn't have that formula smell or stain like the name brand did.

I used Enfamil. I breastfed in the hospital but then switched to formula at home. I had so many samples from Enfamil so that's what I started with and it worked well for my DD so we stuck with it.
