Which favor for 1st birthday? (warning, deliciousness inside!!)
We're doing a cupcake theme... these favors will be for everyone (adults & kids - kids are also getting extra stuff).
cupcake cookies
cupcake lollipops
OR the cutest things ever (but seem like a lot of work)...

We did the cupcake pops for my dd's 1st bday which was also cupcake themed. They were the BIGGEST hit ever. A lot of work, but soooo yummy! We put some on the stick and had a tray that were off the stick.

You made them? I'm kinda scared. They seem like a lot of work... how long do you think it took you total and how many did you make? Did you use the red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting or something else? How far in advance did you make them and did you store them in the fridge or on the counter? Sorry so many q's... thanks!

Yes, I made them with the help of my MIL. They were a lot of work, but easy work not "hard" work. It took a couple of hours, but we made probably 200! The different steps and waiting is what took the longest. We made some with red velvet and cream cheese and a vanilla ones too (can't remember what kind.) We also dipped them in different colored chocolates and had many different color combos.
We made them 1 day in advance, and kept them on the counter in sealed containers. We had a ton left and were eating them for over a week. They were sooooo yummy!

I did the cupcake chocolate lollipops for DD's first bday, but the cookies look awesome too! I almost did those cupcake pops at the bottom but they did seem too labor intensive!

Thanks!!! My mom and sis are coming in on friday (i'll be working  ) but maybe I can have them pick up everything and then we can all make them friday night. Shouldn't be too bad with 3 of us right........

the cupcake cake pops are yummy, yummy, yummy! I had them at my niece's b-day party, although they were just balls. I tried making them for DD's Christening and the mixture came out too mushy and I was short on time, but they are delish!! and adorable!

cupcake pops are most unique
but i love chocolate lollipops so i vote for them. plus they are easier to take home too. i can see the cupcake pop smushing everywhere.
