I have seen #1 in person & it's beautiful. Photos do not do it justice.

This timeless white silk dupioni Christening gown has a beautifully smocked bodice with ecru hand embroidery. The gown is finished with tucks along the skirt. Sash ties in the back

Light ivory 100% silk dupioni full length gown with netted cap sleeve with raised flower and beaded embroidery and ruffled edging. Lined high-waisted bodise with floral trim at waist and hand made satin rose at center. Full skirt with 2” hem. Buttons in back with 3 pearl buttons.

Both are beautiful but I choose #2. I think because it looks so similiar to what DD had and I was in love with it.

#1 I love smocking. The bonnet was a must for me as well. BTW, I love the bonnet that goes with dress #1.

WOW, looks like you girls are as torn as me.
My DH has seen #1 too and loved it.
I wanted something time-less looking. My sister has my baptism gown in a storage in FL So my DD does not even have the option to wear it. So I want her to have a gown she can pass on to her daughter.

OMG-I love both!!! #1 I guess because of the smocking. DD's dress was almost the same but it was cotton and it didn't have the two colors-I love that!

#2 because that is what DD will be wearing!! You can also buy the matching headband which can be worn as a garter on her wedding day!!
It will be arriving on Friday... I will let you know how it is in person if you would like.

Now that is a really cute idea!! but i would buy 2 headbands then.. that way she can use the one not used on wedding day for her dds baptism... that way its not stretched out.

Tough call! Both are beautiful but #1 really does it for me. I think it's the bonnet. I had to love the bonnet that went with DD's christening gown.
