Where to go to get a dress dyed?
I recently came across my senior prom dress while going through the closet in my old room at my parents' house. It still fits and is definately still wearable, It would be PERFECT for a wedding, except it's ivory! Where can I go in the Stony Brookish area to get it dyed black? I already tried the local dry cleaners, and they don't do it. TIA!

I remember this dress!
Sorry - I don't know of any places
But I do take my dresses, for alterations and such, to a woman named Rosealba in Kings Park. She does fantastic work and even custom makes dresses -- it is worth a phone call to her to ask her if she possibly does this. Also, if she doesn't - maybe she knows someone who does?? HTH.

That's so funny! Great memory!
Does this woman work out of her home, or do I need to call a business? Thanks Danielle!

You're welcome.
Oh yeah - he is doing so well and very happy that he is finally getting some real sounds out - you can tell he has a big sense of relief. He is a talker and probably misses his 3948458 conversations a day with me, Jenn, my Mom, anyone who will listen.
