Totally. I hated her on Laguna Beach - boyfriend stealer that she was.  It takes two to tango...so I definitely don't think she's 100% innocent in everything that has "happened to her". The one similarity in all of the different instances is her...
That said...*** was with the fake-y ring that Spencer picked up for Heidi? What's with their matching veneers?
She so totally had a hand in spreading those tape rumors...I don't doubt it for one minute. Heidi is a spoiled brat who thinks that Spencer (and his parents money - that Santa Barbara house was so not his - would he put up a dried flower wreath on the front door???) will be her big meal ticket. Loser.

Was is just me or did you feel that Heidi was having a REALLY hard time with coming up with good things to say about Spencer and their relationship after he "propsed"? She kept saying the same things over again.

While I have a strong dislike for Heidi and Spencer, I do not think Lauren is a saint in the whole matter either. I do not think she is the "angel" that she portrays.
Justin/Bobby was great, though I am getting the vibe that he is "fake". Maybe an struggling actor that the Hills producers placed to spice up Audrina's "life". She really hasn't had a plot surround her so far on the run of the show. Same for Whitney. I think we are going to begin to see/hear a lot more about her this season. She is very likable and the producers know that.
That said, do you think we will ever see Emily (intern from hell) again??? 
Also, pretty excited to see Jason ( I don't know I have a weakness for him ) I recently read an article on him that he is on the straight and narrow and now going around to high schools and such to preach sobriety and all stuff good. Hope for his sake he turns his life around!!!!!!
Oh and that proposal!!! I almost lost my lunch/dinner or whatever almost came up!!!! How gross and staged!!! For the record, I do not believe there is any facet of Heidi and Spencer's relationship that is real. I think he probably went to her on his first season with a "business plan" along the lines of "How can we extend our fifteen minutes, get our names and faces recoginzed etc..." He is trying to milk this reality business for all that is worth. The only problem with the plan is that they are not very likable and people can see through the fakeness.

I read that Jason was clean and sober, going around talking to HS kids and that he had a serious girlfriend. Hope he doesn't try to put the moves on my girl LC!!!

I don't think buying a stone other than a diamond means the relationship isn't serious A lot of people opt for a stone other than a diamond - b/c it's what they prefer.
In the case of Heidi & Spencer, if he was serious, he should have bought a ring from a jeweller...not Claire's accessory store

Not that he isn't serious b/c it wasn't a diamond, its just that he seems to be such a show off that I guess I assumed it would be nothing other than a diamond. When he walked in that store I thought he was gonna buy her an engagement handbag!

I think I'm in the minority when I say this... Even though I like LC I think that she is a hypocrite. When she was with Jason, it was all about her and Jason, then when they were broken up it seemed like she was more jealous that Heidi had a boyfriend than she was really worried about her friend. I don't know if Heidi actually spread those rumors about Lauren, I tend to think she wouldn't do that. I truly think that Heidi is a nice person and really loves Lauren. I just think she is caught up in the whole boyfriend thing and all. Lauren should of asked Heidi about the rumors when she first heard of them instead of causing a scene at a club. I think Lauren is a little bit of a drama queen and brings on a lot of these problems herself. she is the one who keeps losing friends.

LOL, well maybe he wanted to pick up some headbands and hoops while he was at it. My DH was marvelling at the five seconds it took Spencer to pick out the ring. He said, "I love you more than Spencer loves Heidi. I was in the jewelry store for hours and hours."

Ok...Am I the only one who noticed how SCRIPTED it was? the whole first 15 minutes was like bad acting, they set up all the situations and there were even some voice overs in there  
And the whole Whitney part on the 1st episode was badly scripted.
Thats what annoys me about the show. Just let them be.....let them actually do what comes naturally.
There were very few "real" moments in either episode.
Why is Laurens voice so scratchy? I love how she dresses though. I think shes got a great style.
Heidi's hair needs a major straightening job at the roots! LOL
And Bobby...AKA...Justin. OMG...What a weirdo!

I do agree that Heidi and Spencer are total losers, but Lauren is not perfect. She seems like that annoying friend that we all had that was jealous whenever one of her friends had a boyfriend and complained that she was left out, but when she got a boyfriend did the same thing! She is a hypocrite! The show is so staged though-- I bet that the drama only exists so that people will watch the show. I am sure that the ratings were up b/c of all of the rumors. It is definitely more interesting now...

Is anyone watching Newport Harbor?
I'm loving this one! Although, the Hills, this show and Laguna all seem rehearsed to me. it's just weird how some of the things that come out of their mouths sound sooo scripted. I love them all though!! I can't stand Spencer, he's such a loser!! And Lauren gets soo jealous of all of her friends with boyfriends.
