Where is your American flag in front of your house? (And also a q...)
Here's where mine used to be:
but we removed the tree this spring. I'm just wondering where you all have yours...
Also, is it OK to screw it into vinyl siding??

We're on the 2nd floor of a duplex and have it on the side of the balcony (front of the house) and we have it in the vinyl siding.

We have a front porch and we have the holder screwed onto one of our railings. We also have a light in the grass pointing at it since we never take our flag down.
ETA: Btw- your house is fabulous!!

We usually put in in a special flag holder, on the side of the front door frame. Mary

DH just put one up in our front yard. He took large planter, a wood post, filled the planter with soil and attached the flag to the post. We also planted flowers around the post. It looks nice. We did not not want to attach it to to the siding.
