Where do you put on your make up
I make sure I leave enough time in the morning to do my make up at home before I leave for work. I see people apply their whole make up routine on the bus. I would be afraid to apply eye liner or mascara on a moving vehicle

When I read the title , I thought you meant, bathroom vs. bedroom or something.
I try & do it all at home, but lately I have been filling in my eyebrows on the train ( I guess because I added it on to my routine witout adding on an extra time)and it's not that hard. A train might be esier than a bus b/c it doesnt' turn or stop short.
And I usually do lipgloss on the train because they live in my bag most of the time.

Where do you put on your make up
Mostly in my office. I don't like any of the spots in my house until DH builds me a vanity or something. I like being able to sit down and do it, standing and leaning over hurts my back.

That's a great idea! I have good light in the living room int he morning too.
I'm afraid I 'd make a mess though.

Bathroom .. technically. I mean, that's where I keep my makeup and start applying it... but I usually end up walking around the house and going to a different bathroom with better lighting.

On the bus! And when I rode the train to work, on the train! I've learned how to put mascara on with my mouth closed and the bumps usually don't bother me.
Even if I had spare time in the morning to do my makeup in my home, I'd wind up doing something else... I'd clean, I'd pay a bill, I'd hang out with my kids for another minute... anything.

Brilliant. We have no storage in the bathroom, so my makeup is a mess, but we are getting a new tv stand--so maybe I will plan for that!

In my bedroom. I wish I had a vanity. I at least need to get a magnifying lit mirror. The lighting in my bedroom is terrible.

In the car on weekdays (with DH driving). I'm out the door at 5:30 am and there's no WAY i'm getting up any earlier than I absolutely have to. Weekends, in the master bathroom.

At my desk in my office.
In the morning, I work out in the gym in our building and the lighting in the locker room is terrible. One of the guys who works for me usually arrives mid-makeup. I used to feel weird that he'd be chatting with me while I was doing that but I've gotten used to it.

I could NEVER do my make up on the train or bus simply because I could NEVER EVER leave my home without makeup on.
It would be way too frightening a sight for innocent commuters.
