Where do you ladies get dresses
Going to a wedding and need a new dress...i went to Macy's, nordstroms and jcpenney in Roosevelt field and I didn't like ANYTHING ...didn't have time to check bloomies...I guess I will go back there this week
Then I went to Macy's in manhattan and fig I would have to like something there....and NOTHING!!!!
Don't really want to spend more than $150-175
Live near Roosevelt field mall...
Any suggestions?!!?

Check out Estelle's dressy dresses in Farmingdale, it's a dress outlet so no way you couldnt find something there and from what i remember it's great prices.

I had this issue with the last wedding I went to.
Also didn't want to spend a ton, and wanted to purchase something I could wear again to another event.
I felt like most places that sold dresses, resembled what Snookie wears out on a regular day.
I ended up going into Dress Barn, and found the perfect LBD.

oh wow..i forgot about this place...i bought a dress there in HS for a prom i went to!!! hahaha! wow that was a long time ago!

Where do you ladies get dresses
Marshalls- hit or miss but I've gotten 2 really nice dresses there. There's one right by RF on Old Country Road.
You can also try Nordstrom Rack while you are over there (I know you said you tried Nordstrom, but maybe the Rack has some different stuff). Off 5th is there as well.
If you are willing to try online, I just got my shower dress at asos.com (I got from the maternity section but I looked and the regular dresses are super cute too!). Free shipping so you can order 2 different sizes and return the one that doesn't fit (that's what I did)
