Where do you keep...
Your fruit?
Do you store it in the fridge or out on the counter?
This is an ongoing debate in my house between DH and I. I prefer to leave most of my fruit out to ripen on the counter. He likes to put it in the fridge.
Although, I do like to leave apples in the fridge. But things like oranges, peaches, nectarines, bananas... I like to leave them out to ripen.. plus I forget about them when they are in the fridge because growing up we always kept them out.
Just curious to see what others do!

only fruit I keep in the fridge is berries & cut melon...
...and we have the same debate in my house - I side with you!

depends what fruit/vegie....
on counter: tomatoes, mangos, pears, bananas, garlic.... anything requiring ripening
in refrigerator: apples, potatoes, onions, anything green or leafy, all herbs, oranges, lemons....

Bananas, peaches, plums, pears, nectarine, apples and oranges on the counter
Strawberries, cherries, grapes, blackberries, watermelon in the fridge
Cantaloupe and Honeydew on the counter to ripen until it's cut.

Bananas on counter
Watermelon, cantaloupe on counter until time to cut... then in fridge
All other fruit (apples, oranges, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, pears and grapes) are in the fridge

Most things are on the counter. Berries, grapes and watermelon go in the fridge because I like them cold. Everything else is just as good room temperature.

Rob loves EVERYTHING cold. I don't know why - so fruits that he likes get the fridge treatments. Apples in the apple bins on the door of the fridge, citrus fruits in the crisper, grapes, cherries, peaches, plums and nectarines get shelf space in the fridge.
I prefer room temperature fruit (except berries and grapes - I like those cold) So pears, lychees, pomegranates, kiwi and any other fruit that Rob doesn't eat is allowed to stay on the counter.
My kids love all fruits and don't care if they are warm or cold!
Bananas are ALWAYS on the counter and I never refridgerate my tomatoes.

Bananas are the only thing on the counter. I put everything else in the fridge. It definately eliminates fruit flies.

most fruit on the counter, especially bananas and such. I do keep grapes and apples in my fridge because I like them cold. Same for things like watermelon and cantaloupe. Now that I am writing it, I guess I keep it all in the fridge
