Where do you get your children's holiday outfits?
I'm looking for my daughter who wears a 2/3T. I hate everything I've seen at typical children's stores (Carters, Gymboree, Children's Place, etc.) I don't want something overly holiday -- I don't want it to have reindeer, snowmen, snowflakes, santa, etc. on it. Looking for something classic (maybe a sweater dress with some tights?) that she can be comfy in and wear on the actual holidays, not just for photos. HELP!

I don't think that I can order from a place that doesn't allow returns. I'd likely have to order more than 1 size and try them both on her to see which fits better. Don't want to be stuck with an outfit that can't be returned.

Where do you get your children's holiday outfits?
I got cute coordinating sweater dresses from hannah Anderson last year for my girls to wear Christmas day. It ended up being a thousand degrees on Christmas day last year so they ended up wearing short sleeve dresses from target and looked adorable. Thankfully I was able to return the others lol

That being said, I feel like a lot of the selection for Xmas isn't out yet. I remember getting dds outfit at the start of October last year, and a few weeks later all the companies came out with more outfits

it definitely sounds weird... but check Ebay. LOL a lot of people sell cute stuff, some new with tags. and it might be stuff from a local store, or stuff from last year that you might like better than whats out now. I got DS's easter outfit on eBay last year- like $30 for a super cute whole outfit from Janie and Jack, in great shape

I've gotten DD's Christmas dress from Chasing Fireflies the last few years. Love their stuff. I also really love Next. But I agree, most holiday lines aren't out just yet. They should be in the next few weeks.

Wherever i see something i like... Im not picky. This year im getting them at the childrens place because i have 7 place cash to use this week.

This year I did Kohls. Just happened to fall in love with a dress from the Dollie and me collection. We always do a fancy and a sweater dress. Last year I got a sweater dress from Gymboree but it wasn't till early Nov. not many of the Christmas type outfits are out yet so I'm waiting a bit.

Me too. If I see it and I like it I just buy it.
Usually Kohl's is where I have luck. Online though- better selection than the stores.
I don't go too nuts since it's a dress she will wear for a few hours then never again.

Yeah it's definitely too early.
The stuff comes out in early Oct as far as my experience goes

Usually Gymboree puts out cute winter sweatEr dresses a few weeks after they release their formal Christmas line. Last year I got a beautiful cream short sleeved sweater dress with metallic threads she wore so much due to the hot December weather

Yes I just looked today on the Kohl's website out of curiosity and when you select Holiday under the category all that comes up is clearance stuff from last year.
I'd say by Oct 1st the new stuff will be out

Just wanted to say try Etsy.
I just found the perfect outfit for her Christmas photo shoot on there. They have tons of outfits that are not your usual Christmas outfits from the stores.

I could update too-I actually just got one of dds Christmas dresses at babies r us and one at buy buy baby
Now to just find an outfit for ds that will coordinate
