both cars were in the garage. We have a snowblower so doing the entire driveway wasn't so bad. At least it didn't look so bad while I sipped my tea and peeked out the window occasionally

We have a pull-out/parking area, so we put the trailer (16') and our 3 vehicles there. DH's tractor tractor goes in the garage, that way DH can just start plowing as soon as he opens the garage door.
Besides, our Excursions won't fit in the garage.  They're too tall for the garage door opening.

I have no garage, and a plow for my pickup. I park the truck with the plow near the front door, facing towards the street. I learned last year that if I leave it sideways on our property (we have a slight slope), and there is a lot of snow, the truck can spin all 4 tires, and slide sideways in the snow and get stuck...
