I would not recommend getting it done. It is not the safest thing to have done.

Hi Lisa.
I would not recommend getting it done. It is not the safest thing to have done.
I thought Brazillian wasn't very safe but Keratin actually strengthens the hair?
I got mine done (keratin) at a local salon last year. I think I paid $275.
The keratin is more for frizzies & humidity, not that straight flattened JHS look.
In May, I'm going to try a new kind of straightening for $175 . I'm told it's not as damaging as JHS, but flatter than Keratin. The salon I go to will not do any Brazillian straightening. They don't think it's safe the client or for them.

what is the new one?
I don't want JHS bc my hair is colored and highlighted, plus I don't want it to be stick flat...just not frizzy and curly
