Where did you buy your nursery furniture?
I want to start looking into baby furniture and have no idea where to begin!

Im not really into the expensive baby furniture thing so I will probably go to babies r us or target. I plan to have more kids and use the same crib so I wouldnt do the whole "life time" set for $$$$$$

Bought my furniture at Sukons in Queens. Excellent service and a large selection. I bought my sister's furniture here in Nov. and had a wonderful experience with them as well. I recommend them to everyone I know.

we're in an apt right now so we only wanted a crib and changing table/dresser.
So, we didn't want to invest lots of $$ on furniture (but we of course still wanted decent quality, since we'd like to re-use the furniture with another child)
So, we actually shopped online and found a great set at Walmart of all places (this is coming from someone who never shops there....) We bought a babymod set that had only 5 star reviews. The furniture is amazing quality, very solid, and not too expensive. the crib sells for $299 and the dresser I believe $250.

I can vouch for that. Hollie sent me to Sukon's and I found their selection and customer service to be top notch. They will work on you with price as well.
DH and I bought a glider (on sale) at BRU and it was nothing but drama from beginning to end. They were inefficient, disorganized and lost our paperwork. I would never buy baby furniture from them.

We have been so lucky with our BRU for furniture.
The only issue we had with them was they were to contact DH if something needed to be picked up. They continued to call the house or call me. He told them not to call or contact me because I wasnt suppose to know about anything and even had them put a note on our account do not call me. Call him. (This was during the whole planning of my shower).
So my shower has passed and our glider comes in. Now they listened somewhat. They never called to advise it was in. I had to call and ask about it.

It's Stanley/Young America which you can get at BBB but our friend got it for us through Direct Buy and saved us a fortune on it. If you know anyone with a Direct Buy membership I would try and tap them!!

We bought the same set but in "Teastain". I absolutely LOVE it and  loves his crib  I waited till we got the 20% off coupons and bought the pieces then and picked them up ourselves to save on shipping.

Little King and Queen in Brooklyn on Avenue U. Service was absolutely amazing, they spent literally 4 hours with us on two separate ocassions bc it takes DH a really long time to commit to something
