Where did you buy baby furniture?
DH and I are going to start looking in 3 weeks after my anatomy scan. We are having twins so we don't to mortgage our house to furnish the nursery .
Where did you go? We're going to go to BBB and Babies R Us. Baby Bargains gave Behr's great reviews for customer service. When I googled Behr's, all I saw online were horrible reviews. Anyone have experiences there? Were they overpriced?
I looked in Target yesterday and they had nothing!!! There was one crib that was half dismantled and fallling apart. That completely turned me off from buying there.

We got DS' furniture from Behr's, and had a good experience. The employee we dealt with was helpful and friendly, and we love the furniture. We are going back there for this DC's furniture. As far as price, for his crib, 4 drawer dresser, 6 drawer dresser, conversion kit, and mattress, it was roughly $3,000.00. I think their prices really vary depending on what you want.

We were able to use a 20% coupon for each piece. They were very helpful AND our furniture is in stock and ready when we are.
VERY positive experience

DH and I went to Behr's bc we had heard good things. For us, they were bit more exspensive than we wanted to spend. I think the cheapest we saw for a 3 piece (crib, dresser, changer) set was about $3,000 for antyhign we liked.
We went with the Eastside Collection by Babi Italia from BRU. We got the lifetime crib, 6 drawer dresser, changer/dresser combo, nightstand and conversion rails. This retailed for a little over $2,000. However, we had a coupon for $350 off the set and got 10% off for opening a BRU cc. In the end the total was $1500.

I think it depends on which Target you go to also.
The displays are really not that great. I would use the Baby Bargains book to see what the reviews are of the actual brand you see at Target, whether in store or online and make a decision from there. I know i've seen some better set ups in different Targets
We got our crib/dresser from BRU and it was in stock and came in within 5 days from when we ordered it.
Behrs seemed really nice, but a bit more expensive than we were looking to spend overall. We got the Baby Cache Essentials crib from BRU, which got great reviews in Baby Bargains book, which was all we needed to hear!

We had the grandmas order the DaVinci roxanne cribs from Babies R us for our monkeys. We love them and they were not crazy$$$. We have one of them together already. and then we are going to look for a dresser separately.

We bought ours at Bellini in Rockville Centre, the promo that was going on when we bought it was buy one piece get the other half off, plus free shipping. Definitely worth looking into with twins.

We signed up for a registry at aBaby.com. We got all the baby furniture we wanted along with most of everything else we had signed up for. The delivery was perfect and we’re very happy with everything we got!

The dresser/changing table was DD's, but it came from Babies R Us and still looks new. I still have her original crib too, but since it's a drop down we're not using it.
We are using 2 of my sisters mini cribs by DaVinci. My mom got us a 3rd one. They all came from Amazon.
2 of my friends got their furniture from Behrs and were very happy.
Have fun shopping!

They have to all be not expired and you have to do seperate orders for each piece, but worth it!
