Where to buy baby furniture??
I need to know where to go for good quality baby furniture. I know of Bellini's but it just seems so expensive....is this the normal range to get good quality??

we got ours at Behrs
my MIL bought it for us so i am not sure of the exact price, but i dont think it was unreasonable

We got our's from Behr's. We bought just 2 pieces [crib & changing table with 6 big drawers] and we spent $1,500 (I think the brand is Munire) The quality is excellent though and I thought Behr's service was great, they delivered within the time frame they said they would.
Oh, I almost forgot..we also go the crib mattress & changing table pad from them as well..

I got mine at BBB. It was $2200 for the crib with a good mattress, the chest of drawers, and the dresser with the hutch.

me too.....bonavita chadwick collection which they just called to tell me is now discontinued so if i wanted any other peices we needed to buy them now which i thought was great customer service......pics are also in my album

for $600 we got a crib and dresser/changing table combo at BRU. the crib can also convert into a bed when the time comes. i think it was well worth it.

another vote for Sukon's. Just ordered our Bonavita furniture today. FYI- this weekend the special is no sales tax so I saved a few hundred dollars.

IMO, stay away from bellini. I had an absolutely horrible experience with them - I had to return all my DS's furniture and their customer service is horrid. After complaining to some friends I have heard similar terrible stories about Bellini. In short, leaving out all the horrid details - the furniture they brought us stunk of varnish and after 3 wks of trying everything we could not get the stench to dissipate. CAN YOU IMAGINE? Baby furniture stinking of paint? And, from dealing with them it was obvious I was not the first customer to complain of this!
I ended up buying all of DS's nursery furniture from Pottery Barn Kids - the larkin collection - their service was great and the furniture is terrifice! No complaints here at all.

BBB I had to special order this one they dont carry it I think I paid rouns about $1900 including delivery I got the crib and 2 piece hutch not the dresser though that was another $800 Image Attachment(s):

We did the same, ordered the cribs from JC Penny - at first, I was nervous since we ordered online (I don't think they have them in the store), but DH just put one together today and it is awesome!! Plus, they were so inexpensive and JPMA certified.

Yeah I was even able to put the crib together myself. I love it and I think the quality is great for the price. I didn't want a convertible crib so the one we got was perfect (drop rail and drawer underneath). And the dresser that goes with it is a really nice piece as well. Plus, I think I got everything 2 weeks after I ordered it!!
