Where can I get a nice COMFY sofa?
I dont mind sending money for a comfy good quality couch. We were going to have one made at Ethan Allen, ...they are nice but THEY arent SUPER COMFY. I want a couch that will be nice to lay back put my feet on an ottoman and watch tv.
We checked Raymour and Flannigan & Bloomingdales.
Where else shoud i look or recommend your comfy sofa?

Pottery Barn has some great ones
I have 2 Ethan Allen and they are comfortable. Just depends on which style you choose, that goes with any store for that matter.

I think its hard with Ethan Allen, bc I looked and found a couch I liked in terms of style. Then sitting on it was terrible...but I know they said you can change the Cushion style...( to down, Firm, etc). I was getting so confused bc I would find couches I liked but not the comfort. Then there was comfortable ones, but not my style. They were explaining that to me, that they can take the comfort of the couch I like and make that to the style I like ...I guess.
If only it could be easier.
I am glad to hear though you are happy with them. I am going back Wed to order my Bed, so I will test them out again.
I will check out pottery barn this week.

You are welcome. I know what you mean...trust me. I bought so much of my furniture there so I know.
Thing is, if you pick a formal couch, it will be more firm. If you pick a more loungy couch, less firm. But they are very sturdy and the cushions are probably more firm than other stores. I liked that personally. I hate a droopy soft couch.
We also just got a sectional from PB (pearce sectional but you can get couches in the Pearce also). They have super super comfy soft couches, or more firm couches. I think you will find something you like there. Only problem is you wont see ALL of it in the store, kwim? But def try them. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Pearce sectional. Firm but comfy. But they also have a really informal softer cushiony couch. Forget the name but they will guide you if you tell them what you want. HTH

La-Z-boy Furniture Galleries has some nice stuff too. they have a store in Setauket and several in Nassau.

And we also got another set from Ashely Furniture.

Try the place, they have a huge selection. We got our leather sectional from there.
