When your offer was accepted...
When your offer was accepted by the seller for a home, did you sign anything then before doing an inspection? Because we didn't and the house that we have an accepted offer on is having an open house tomorrow.

Re: When your offer was accepted...
I think its called buyers agreement...this did not make it official its basically your offer in writing...I would wait until the open house is over to do the inspection. They might take a better offer even if you spent $ on the inspection. Good Luck!

We did our inspection last sunday. This week we've been going back and forth regarding negotiations based off the results of the home inspection.

Re: When your offer was accepted...
Until you are legally "in contract" the seller has the right to continue to show the house and possibly accept other offers.

we didn't sign anything until we had the inspection and they realized we weren't going to ask for anything

They can still show it until you're in contract. it's really fustrating but only when both parties sign the contract are they suppose to stop showing it
