When you picked your babies' name....
and no one else was really using it...and then all of a sudden....
EVERYONE seems to be picking it.....
There are SO many Alisons on th PG baby names thread!

Everyone in the world had the name Emily when we decided on it but I've always loved the name and so did DH so we picked it anyway.
To make it worse her name is Emily Elizabeth. We named her after a children's book character. She'll probably hate us for it later.

Where I live Noah isn't a very popular name, we loved it and chose it. A few weeks ago, I go to the mall...I hear 2 mothers yelling at their Noah's.
I also had some women asking me what the baby's name was, when I told them Noah one of them said to me, Thats an original name..where does it come from. I said...It comes from a book...its called THE BIBLE!
That showed them!!!

I understand I was looking for an uncommon name but always loved the name marissa sowhen I found out I was pg I had said I love the name marissa and FH said that he liked it as well so we had our girls name p icked but we couldn't agree on a boy so we are very lucky that we had a DD

Not a lot of Madeline's around. When I told my ob/gyn her name, he blurted out"Terrific name! I don't know a single one!" I was thrilled!
Joseph is about as common as a name can get - but it doesnt' bother me.

Molly is not a popular name, but it is also not a name that is never used. I don't think there are any other Molly's on LIF though.

Now everyone asks me if she named her after Rachels baby on "Friends".

If Ryan was a girl he was going to be Alison. The funny thing is we were between Ryan and Bryan. DH said lets do Ryan because Bryan is more common. Well as it turns out Ryan is very common.

I chose Damien and I am pretty sure I am safe with it
No idea of what to name this baby though

I hear so many Giannas now. When I was growing up w/ the name Jennifer it was way too popular. I thought Gianna would be uncommon- but it's getting used a lot.

We named Sidney after family members (and of course Alias ). But a friend just had a baby and she named her Sydney!!!! I guess since we have it spelled the old fashion way it will make it a little different.

I have yet to meet another  named Cameron. Although I have heard that Camryn is becoming more popular. I grew up with about 600 other Jennifer's and am glad I named my daughter something a little different.

I hated my name growing up in my grade school there were 4 jennifer's in my class aside from me and even growing up I knew quite afew jennifer's and I swore I would try to find a name for my child that wasn't so common. I don't hear Marissa alot so I am happy

Funny..you never hear of babies named Jennifer, Stacey, Michele, Barbara, Dawn, Donna, Patricia anymore..I went to school with so many and now I doubt Molly will know one girl with those names.

Well I LOVE your DD's name!!!
I never run into any Marissa's... and can never find anything with my name on it.....
Your daughter, and a friend of mine, are the only other 2 that I know (well you know what I mean )
