When were you able to fit into your rings again after birth?
It has been almost 2 weeks since I had my DD. I have noticed a significant amount of weight loss...but My hands are still larger.
My rings still wont fit!
Does it take awhile???
Or maybe I will need everything permanently resized?

I waited a couple of months and they still wouldn't fit so my Dad (jeweler) resized them for me.

I am on 3 weeks and tried my rings on yesterday.
NO GO  
I dont know if I need to have them made bigger or if they will fit again in time. I already lost over 20lbs so not sure what the problem is, but I miss my rings so much

I still have 15 lbs to lose and am at the same weight where I retired my rings and they still don't fit after a year.
I think I am going to give in and get them resized.

My DD is almost 2 and my weding ring has no chance in he!! of ever fitting me comfortably.
I have been wearing my E-ring since giving birth

my hands didn't swell much at all, i put them back on the day i got home from the hospital

i wore mine all through pregnancy and evem after DS was born. but i have chubby fingers to begin with lol so maybe they didnt really change that much.

Ditto except my fingers are probably the only thing on me that has never been chubby

I didnt put my rings back on until DD was about 3 months. I am not looking forward to having to ditch them again with this pregnancy!

Give it time. I wish I listened to people when they told me that!
I sized my e-ring about 3 months PP. About 4-4.5 months PP, I was able to put my wedding rings back on (I have an eternity band and a solid band)-now my sized e-ring is huge and I wear a ring guard on it.
Even though you are 2 weeks PP, your body is still adjusting and fluctuating and it takes time for all of the extra swelling to go away.

With my first DD, I had a lot of swelling. I had my rings permanently resized a 1/2 size larger. with my 2nd pregnancy, I didn't swell and wore my rings the day of my c-section. My rings fit once I got home from the hospital. I'm glad that I had them resized.

at 6 months after with DD1 I could barely squeeze them over my knuckle, but once I did they fit my finger ok...that's when I had them stretched a bit. they wanted to put balls in to keep it from spinning once over the knuckle. i think my joints stretched out! i didn't have this problem with DD2...kept my rings on until almost the end and then they went right back on!

NO! I had to take them off while PG. Two years later I gave up the fight and re-sized them! I still need to lose the PG weight!

I had my rings resized when DD was 6 months old. She is now 3 and I haven't had to resize them again.
