When was the youngest that you brought DC for pro pics?
I have 2 questions...
DD is just over 6 weeks now. I would love to bring her to get professional pics taken but don't want it to be a waste of time. Is she too young? When is the earliest that you brought your DC to get pro pics?
And where did you bring your DC to get their first pro pics? Would you recommend them?

The first time we brought DD for pictures she was 4 days old.
Sorry, just saw the second question. We took her to Studio one to on, similar to The Picture People.

DS was one month old and we went to Kiddie Kandids. I think they did a good job just expensive!

I tood dd at 6 weeks to Kiddie Kandids. The got some great pics of her sleeping and awake. So worth it.

5 weeks at KK for birth announcement pics. I am so glad we did. They got such cute tummy shots and I look back and marvel at how time he is.
Bring your own toy or special blanket to make it even more meaningful.
They did a great job!

We took my first son when he was almost 3 months...Chase is going to go when he is a month so I can get their Christmas pics...we are going to go to Kiddie Kandids.

4 months for Baptism pictures but I would think that you could bring them very young. Or, if you are concerned about bringing the baby out you could have a photographer come to the house.

all 3 of my kids got pictures done for their 1 month birthday.
My first DD was in a 5 generation pro pictures at 11 days old.

we did 12 weeks, but next time I want to do newborn shots - maybe at 2-4 weeks old after the fugly phase!

I took DC at 5 weeks old to Kiddie Kandids...a bit expensive but so worth it..and you get your pictures right there.

I think Luke was about 6 weeks old when we took him for his first holiday shoot. I don't think it was a waste at all. I love those pics!!!
