When to Think About IUI

When is too early to consider IUI? Does Kofinas have a protocol?

I am in my first medicated cycle w Kofinas. Just got my period. I started seeing him during my last pregnancy, which was unsuccessful, and I saw him as a second opinion and switched over.

I got pregnant on my second clomid cycle with prior doctor. Prior to seeing that doctor, we tried on our own for about 2 years. Have been working with doctors since last March. I am 33, DH is 44.

Also, with IUI, does DH do his part at the office the same day?

I had my first IUI after about 1 year of trying.

DH produced at home and brought it to the office, but we are close to my RE, so it'll depend upon how close you are.

We are older so we went after 6 months and my obgyn suggested as well. Your DH can do in office same day, at home if your close enough(I think they allow 1 hour) or DH can you other days and they store it. That's what we do, my DH works overnights and hard to always be on my schedule.
