When to switch to chewable vitamins?
I am clueless.
Twins are 2 and take the poly visol. DS hates them and it is a battle.
When did you switch and which ones do you use?

Dd will be 3 In May and we switchEd her about 2 months ago. I got the flinestones chewable and she loves them. I researched them and noting bad came up on my search haha.

My DD turned 3 in Nov and they switched her to the Chewable, its a prescription one... She hated them at first (She didn't mind the drop one) but she doesn't mind them now.
Good Luck! Just call your ped an ask, and see if you should get a script for one or use OTT.

We made the switch on ds' 2nd birthday.
We currently use Nutri Stars Chewables. They are natural, free from artificial colors, refined sugars. I think they are a pretty good vitamin. nutristars
Flintstones actually has gmo ingredients, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners. I started off with them too but only gave them to ds for a few months until I read the bottle.flintstones

My son never had an issue with the drops until a few months after he turned 2. Out of nowhere, he started refusing them, saying, "These don't really taste very good" haha. So we brought it up to the ped at that point and she switched him to a pres gription chewable. He's 3 now and still loves them!

Our ped gave us the prescription at 18 months for chewables but we waited until a little before 2 yrs old. Much easier!

I tried with DS a little after he turned 2 and he wasn't a fan (he had no issue with the yucky liquid vitamin). He started taking the chewables right before he turned 3 after seeing daddy take his vitamin and deciding he wanted to be like daddy.

I switched DS at about 18 months. I didn't do the script one though because it doesn't have all of the vitamins and minerals that the OTC ones do.

We started DS on Flintstones Gummies a couple of months after he turned 2. He had started refusing the dropper. Can't say I blamed him, the stuff smelled horrific!

We switched around 2 years old. Ask the ped, they can write a prescription and its FREE under the new insurance rules

We switched around 21 months after I told DD's doc that she would just spit out the liquid. She loves her vitamins now often cries when I tell her she can't have another one.

I switched my twins when they were around 2. DD#2 was around 18 months.
ETA: We use the prescription one with flouride.

My ped switches to chewables at 2 years, but I got a script at 18 months because DD refused the liquid vitamins. She loves taking the chewables...so much easier.

DS #1 didn't switch until he was 2, but our ped switched DS #2 at 18 months. Make sure to get a prescription one, because the store-bought ones don't contain fluoride.
