When to start using OPKs...
I am on CD7.... what day should I start using OPKs, CD10? 
Also, what if I don't use them EXCEPT to confirm that I'm O'ing based on EWCM? Is that something that's done?

Depends on the length of your cycle. If you have a 28 day cycle I would start testing with the OPK's on CD10. I know for myself I don't ever ovulate before CD20 so I would start testing later. EWCM usually precedes ovulation by about 2-3 days so you can start testing then as well. It really all depends on your cycle length.

Thanks, the reason I asked is because this is my first cycle off the pill, so I actually have no idea how long my cycles are!  I guess I will start at 10dpo for the first month and hopefully I actually O at all!  I seriously wish I went off the pill a year ago, based on some stories I hear!

I started on CD 10 because I didnt want to miss it and then wait another month. Then I finally got my  on CD 18 and 19
For the CM, I didnt seem to get too much of that...a couple of times I did so I didnt want to just go by that because I heard that you can have it- and that it might not just come down TMI sorry lol Either way I wanted to just double check my temping along with taking OPKs. Are you temping too?

i would temp for a few months before you start using OPK's since you are just coming off the pill to get an idea of when you o. this way u don't waste a ton of money on OPK's.
