Do you have any idea when you usually ovulate?
For myself, I start testing as soon as I see fertile CM, and usually I get a positive 2-3 days later.
There is usually a chart in the box that tells you when you should start testing. It depends on your cycle length.

IMO the best thing I did was buy cheepos from Amazon and a pack of  .
I would use the cheepos starting around day 8 and then when I got what I thought was a positive I would double check it with a that way I could be sure. Some of those double line tests can be hard to read.

I start on CD 10. Around CD 12 I test twice a day. I use the cheap ones on Amazon.
