When is your local Santa parade?
I'm looking for info on Smithtown, but can only find Nesconset!
I think Kings Park is this coming Saturday.

Ours (Sayville) is the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. This year there was a fire in Bayport so the parade was a little shorter than usual!
They have Santa coming to all the elementary schools here on a firetruck on Saturday though! Let me know if you want times!

the truth is that it's not the same if i have to get in the car and drive to the parade! i want to walk out the front door and be there!

I've never heard of a Santa parade!
I guess they don't have that in Westchester. I don't remember it from LI either, but Santa used to come by on a fire truck.

Ours was the day of our tree lighting on Dec 1st.
And Santa came around on the fire truck on Dec 8th.

nothing says christmas like being able to walk right out on your front lawn to see a drunk volunteer firefighter dressed as rudolph hanging off the back of an engine ladder truck screaming jingle BALLS, jingle BALLS, jingle ALL THE WAYYYY!!!!

Our christmas parade (Patchogue) was the saturday after Thanksgiving which it always is and it starts at 6:00pm on Main Street.

Smithtown is this Saturday starting in town at 5pm.
Nesconset is probably the same day, it usually is.

Santa is coming by fire truck as a preview on Dec 15 to our tree lighting & kids holiday party. He'll go around the whole neighborhood on the 22nd.
