when is your DCs morning nap?

How long is your DC up in the morning before they take their first nap? Do you put them down for that nap or do they just get tired & doze off?
I know every baby is so different but I was just wondering.
DD is 6.5 months & it changes all the time but she seems to get tired after 2 hours. She used to go willingly but now it's a battle. I was wondering if it's too soon or if she's tired & just doesn't want to go to sleep (that's how nap time & bedtime have been the past week)

DC is the same...about 2 hours after waking. I'll usually notice some eye-rubbing and crankiness, then will pick up and rock DC on the way to the crib.
Some days there is resistance but for the most part goes down pretty well.

DD will be 7 months next week and she usually takes her first nap after being awake for 2-2.5 hours. Most days she puts up a fight even though she's tired. But that's how she's always been. Even if I start the nap procedure at the first rub of her face, it's still a battle lol.

never more than 1.5 hours after she first wakes, so usually 830. i put her down awake and shes usually out within 5 mins, no fussing. its her best nap of the day.

eta she is 3.5 months

At 6 months, my LO's limit was 2-2.5 hours.

at 8.5 months she's awake somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours before taking her first nap. its still her best nap of the day. she goes willinging, usually falls asleep in my arms or on a bottle. She'll sleep close to 2 hours.

Good, it's reassuring to hear that most babies nap a couple hours after they wake up in the morning.
Now it's just getting her to nap without a fight, sometimes it takes a half hour of crankiness, crying & squirming before she goes to sleepChat Icon
