When is it safe to highlight your hair?

Although I waited until right before I was due it is safe during your second trimester. The chemicals do no touch your scalp

I got my hair highlighted around 10 wks. It does not touch your scalp.

my dr. told me I can color my hair anytime - I'm not even talking highlights - I'm talking hardcore, red hair, right to the roots!!!
I did it in my 1st trimester, and a couple weeks ago in my 3rd...

My SIL (an ob/gyn) says I can but my Dr. says not to risk it just incase

I highlighted my hair at 6 weeks and then again later on. I just did a demi color at 20 weeks.

I color my hair and hope I can hold off until 1st tri ends. I think my Dr. said not to do it while baby's organs are forming. I asked him when I was TTC.

I highlighted my hair when I was about 6 weeks...my doctor told me it was perfectly safe.

The chemicals never touch your hair with foil highlights so you can do it anytimes. For color, I waited until my 2nd trimester although my doctor and stylist both told me I could have done it earlier if I wanted to.
