When grocery shopping, what are your luxuries?
I'll buy the cheaper chips or the store brand cereal, but I splurge on
-REAL maple syrup (no maple flavored syrup),
-the blocks of romano cheese,
-the expensive steak for DH
-Breyers or Ben/Jerry's ice cream.
-cageless, vegetarian eggs and hormone free milk.

OK, this is my kind of post. Here is my list:
-Imported prosciutto from the pork store ($20 a pound!)
-stuffed rigatoni (pork store also)
-Haagen Dazs (Edy's or Breyers just doesn't cut it)
-raisin walnut bread from the bakery dept.
-rainbow cookies from Benkerts Bakery
I know that I'll think of more

well i consider luxuries as things that we dont really need, but get anyway  ...so for us that would be ice cream!
we pretty much get all name brand stuff but use coupons and make sure to load up when things are on sale. the only store brand items we really buy are milk, eggs, iced tea mix, etc.

Same here. I also buy Real Butter andBest Foods Mayo.
Meat from a butcher.Charmin TP..I'm sure there are many others but it's too early here to think

I splurge on Organic Meat and Organic bananas. Also milk, cheese and butter.
I also splurge on the Deli Natures Promise Oven Roasted Turkey. It is expensive but not salty and Andrew loves it.

- Boar's Head Cold Cuts.
- Name brand ice cream (Edy's, Turkey Hill, Friendly's...lately I have been buying the Ice Cream pops/cups).
Name brand cereal (Kellog's, Post, General Mills). I cannot stand store brand cereal for some reason.
