When do you test?

sorry I'm in hiding, I'm hoping for this to work out!!

If I conceived 10 days ago, late at night is it to early to test?

I already tested yesterday but it was negative.

But I'm wondering if it was just to early. everything I read on the on internet seems to say 12-14 days after. is this right?

I should have ovulated around the 10th but I had a ton of really clingy discharge on the 15th and thats when we bd. i also had cramps that day.

CM and cramps aren't an exact science... but maybe we can try to figure out your approximate O date based on your cycle lengths.

Do you know how long your cycles have been for maybe the last 6 months? (Assuming you weren't on BCP?)

they were always 28-29 days

last time I got AF was on Oct 27

Okay so if we go solely based on cycle length..

For a 28 day cycle:

You'd O between 11/6-11/13, most likely date being 11/9.

For a 29 day cycle:

You'd O between 11/7-11/14, most likely date being 11/10.

If you BD'd on 11/9 - then you MAY have a good chance of being pregnant - depending on the length of your LP (luteal phase, or time between ovulation and AF).

Since your AF is likely to be due on 11/23 or 11/24... you would get the most accurate results by waiting until 1 day before then. I would say test again on Sunday and if AF doesn't come on Monday, test again Tuesday.

wow! thanks for all the info! this is all so confusing! but now I understand a little better!
