When do you start tummy time?
Luka will be a week old tomorrow but since we were in hospital he seemed to have really strong neck muscles because he would lift his head when we held him upright.

We did tummy time right away really. DH has Ryan lay alot on his chest and Ryan always lifts his head up from day 1.

Same with us... day 1 in the hospital I noticed Bella would hold her head up. We do tummy time daily and she loves it!

As soon as possible. The flailing arm movements (startle reflex) are precursors to crawling when they're on their tummy.

We started tummy time a few times in the beginning but she hated it. It was around 2.5 months that she really started loving it, but it is good to start it as soon as possible even if it is just for a few minutes.

We started pretty early with Roman because he appeared to have good muscle control. He is still a bit wobbly at 11 weeks but loves tummy time and trys to push up with his arms.

Roman sits in his Bumbo seat for about 10 minutes a day. I also rotate him from his back to his belly when he plays with his activity gym for about 20 minutes a day.
