Yeah this is my reasoning too.
I have had them since before Halloween.
But I don't like to have anything to do with Christmas before Dec 1st on principle

Usually right after Thanksgiving, but I ordered my cards a little late, so we'll send them out as soon as we get them (still roughly the same time frame).
We usually hand out the cards in person to whomever is eating Thanksgiving dinner with us, and start mailing the rest soon after.

sending out probably 12/1 or 12/5 depending on when i can get to the post office to send them.
re: ^^^ me too except anytime after nov 28 (my bday) is my rule.

Day after thanksgiving. They're all sealed and ready to go. I don't ever want to be stressed about getting them together through the crazy holiday schedules.
My excel spreadsheet of addresses gets updated throughout the year if people move, so addressing the, is as easy as peeling a sticker and slapping it on.
It's the one and only thing I'm organized about.

I am hoping to get some nice pics of the kids this weekend & tomorrow so hopefully by Sunday I can finally order them!
I actually don't really start receiving them until the 2nd week of December, so I think I'm good time-wise
