This. I really don't have any Halloween decorations.
Just a light up fake Jack o Lantern for the window.
I have some fall stuff but most years I get so depressed that summer is over that I don't put it out. I don't even want to look at it.
Then it's Thanksgiving time and DH is yelling how I should put some stuff out...then I put it out for 2 weeks and it's time to do Xmas.
But if i had Halloween stuff- not until the first week of Oct.
It looks kind of silly seeing it in Sept- especially in 85 degree heat.

Almost embarrassed to admit this, but I will lol. I decorate for Christmas, November 1st
You're worse than me!!  I hold out on putting up the tree until the weekend before Thanksgiving ONLY if I am not hosting Thanksgiving. I LOVE having the tree up and twinkling on Thanksgiving morning while we watch the parade and have bfast.

I love Christmas so much. It was also my moms favorite holiday (shes passed on). So I try to get the most of the Christmas spirit while I can! Lol only 98 days to go

I hear ya!!..............I am a XMAS addict myself. On rainy, cool days I've already been listening to Xmas music. I just love it, makes me so relaxed and happy!! Can't wait until the holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  this use to be I am not good at decorating if I do get around to it; it would probably be like 2 weeks before Halloween ... same thing for xmas
DD is getting older and now bothers me about so I decorate when she asks me too and again I wait till the last possible moment

When do you decorate for Halloween?
Once it's officially fall I start so next weekend I will do it. Normally it is the last weekend of September or first weekend of October. We don't have that much though and I won't go get pumpkins till later in October.

That's what's throwing me off, this hot weather!
Well, it is still summer, it is supposed to be hot!
I wouldn't put fall out before next week & Halloween until October. I usually do Halloween like a week before, but I don't do much.

OMG so jealous! My DH is ANTI putting the tree up before Thanksgiving. I think that is 1/2 the reason I am not a Thanksgiving fan. It stands between me and decorating my house super early! Once the summer is over, I am ready for Christmas!
I have a few decorations for Halloween and Thanksgiving up in the attic, but typically I am too lazy to get them out and put them up cause I am just not into it.

I'm the same way, once summer is over it's "game on" for all holidays. I hate to rush the fall because it's my favorite season but I live for Xmas!!! DH is use to my Xmas craziness and listening to Xmas music even in the summer, lolol, after 24 yrs of it he doesn't even bother to try and fight it........ He just goes with the flow.
