When do we order the baby crib?

I just realized we have it on the registry- but probably wont have a shower till much later than 30 weeks?

we ordered at 24 weeks and it took MUCH less time than i thought to be delivered. we got it at 25.5 weeks


ETS - where did you register for the crib? some places take 1-2 weeks, some, 8-12

We ordered our first one at 22 weeks or so... I haven't even thought about it yet this time and I'm already 21 weeks.

Think about where the baby will sleep the first few weeks/months... unless you're going from hospital to crib you don't need to worry about it until your shower. I'm going to keep DS in my room for a while so he won't need a crib until he's at least 2 months old.

We got the Carters crib from Babies r Us... Im so lost what to do now lol

I ordered mine from BRU and it was in in a week... Got the dresser and the crib but the combo dresser is still on back order.

how many weeks are you? I would order it by about 25 weeks BBB and BRU say it can take 6-10 weeks, i think

Call up BRU and ask them what the lead time is on your specific crib. That way you'll know how long before your due date to order.

I'll probably ordering soon. We still have to make space though for our LO in the apt.

We ordered ours last weekend I am 31 weeks now...hopefully it will get here in time! We are team however so we aren't doing much to the nursery until the LO is here!

I had ordered mine in the beginning of March (I think I was 20 weeks) and they told me 8-12 weeks. I think it arrived in 5-6 weeks (so early April). I was due the end of July (but she came 26 days early).

Ours only took a week to get here. We ordered it a couple of weeks ago because we had a coupon that was expiring and we need to figure out our space/dresser situation. I was around 23 weeks?

We ordered ours when I was around 24 weeks. If the crib is in stock, it should only take a week or so to get it delivered, but if it's out of stock, it can take anywhere between 8-12 weeks for the store to get it in so we didn't want to take any chances.

we ordered our crib from BRU and they said 7-14 days. Well we got the call that it was in in like 3 days!! I dont think you have to worry if you are ordering it from there, but I would definitely call and see what they say regarding the specific brand.

We ordered ours at the end of November and it's stlill not ready yet. Check with the manufactuer to see how long it takes to come in.

I think by 20 weeks or so.. my furniture will take 6-8 weeks (from behrs).. so I think i should have it by end of April. Im due in June. Id rather have it earlier then last minute (you never know if something is defective and at least it iwll give me extra time to get everything together) I know that the baby will be sleeping in my room, but i want the nursery done, one less thing to worry about once baby is here

I think we will probably order it around 24 weeks. We're just starting to clean out the future nursery and deciding on paint. Once that gets going, then we'll go looking.
