When did your LO start showing hand preference?
When did your LO start to show hand preference? DH and I are both lefties and we always joked we wanted to make lefty babies. Well, DS is 3 1/2 weeks and I swear it seems like he is favoring his left hand already! I've caught him sucking his left thumb a few times and he's always busting his left arm out of his swaddle (so he can rub the back of his head?). I am also tending to put toys in his left hand too!

This is a popular topic on here. You can't really determine handedness until they start drawing and using fine motor control. Basically around 3 or 4 years old. Definitely not before 1yo.

Mine looked like he was using his left a lot at less than 6 months... but now he uses his right mostly (at over a year).
