not until after 4 months. he would reach for them and grab them but he really started playing closer to 5 months.

she reached for things pretty early on like 8 weeks, on her mat on her bouncy chair etc..playing around 4-5 months

Around 10 weeks he would reach and grab for toys, but really interacting like shaking rattles or spinning the thing with beads inside was closer to 5 months.
Closer to 6 months he figured out how to turn the turtle in his high chair toy to make music, and other similar toys that required a bit more coordinaton. Now at 6.5 months he is starting to 'throw' blocks so I'll throw them back to him.
Edited the reach/grab date after going back to look at pictures, I have an awful memory for this stuff

DD is 3.5 mos and she has been grabbing at them for a couple of weeks now. She does not necessarily play with them though.

My DS took a while to start grabbing at toys. I would say he started around 3 months. Now at 4 months, if you put him on his play mat he looks up at the toys hanging and grabs them. He still isn't really playing yet though.

At around 4 months DD started to grab at her toys, but now at 5 months she is playing with them and more interactive.

I can't really remember.  I know she grabbed at things very young. At about 4 months, she started playing.
