when did your DC use a blanket in crib?
... to actually cover themselves. I don't think DS gets it. Hes getting big for the sleep sack, I have to unzip the bottom for his feet

my ds is 6 months and he rolls himself up in it- I dont know if he really gets that it makes him warm or its just a game for him lol

We didn't give DD#1 a blanket until she went into a toddler bed at almost 2yo. She slept in fleece pjs most of the year to keep her warm (maybe in the spring/fall when AC wasn't on she would wear cotton pjs)

DD is 21 months and still doesn't have a blanket at night. They do put a thin one that we provide on her at daycare though for naps.

DD is 22 months and just started using a blanket in the past 2-3 months. and literally in the past week, figured out how to pull it around her to keep it on. I think she learned how to after we showed her how to use her bath towels to keep warm after a bath.

Never. I always just kept him in warm, fleece pjs. He didn't actually get a blanket until he moved into his twin bed (a little over 2). And it was actually a couple of months after the transition. I used giving him a blanket as a bribe to get him to go back to sleep and he has had it eer since.

DS has one - and has had it since 6 months - but, he doesn't get the concept of putting it on himself.
He uses it as a wubby or we have to put it on him.

my oldest got one around 4 months bc his room was always cold.
my youngest got one immediately bc he always had one in the NICU.

Never really needed it. He's dressed warm and doesn't like to be too hot
He's 23 months
I do drape a light blanket on the side of the crib for him. Sometimes he pulls it in with him and sometimes he leaves it. Although he'll throw it out of his crib too 
Funny, at daycare he sleeps with a blanket on him on a cot.

DS has had a blanket in the crib with him since I stopped swaddling him at 5 months old...but he's never actually used it to cover himself...he more uses it to cuddle with  I always just make sure to dress him accordingly since I know he wotn be actually covered by the blanket.
