DS was about 10 months old. We switched when we noticed that the diaper was getting tight around his legs. It would leave red marks.

ds is 8.5 months and he fits in the 3 but the 4 are def a lot more comfy he is 23 lbs

Yes the red marks around her legs is what I am noticing so we are just finishing up the box of 3's and she is on to size 4's.

my BFF's son is also wearing size 4s at 16 months.

DD is tiny, however, we switched her around 1 year because the 4's just work better. She was only 19lbs at 1 year.
