When did you stop using BM/formula w/ cereal?
Ryan's been eating cereal for over a month now and I still use BM to mix in at home, and I send an ounce + to daycare when he eats there. Since his cereal intake is increasing, I'm now using 3-4oz/day of BM for this.
At this point should I switch to water? Nutritionally should I stick with BM?

I switched to water from BM as soon as I added fruit.

I still give K form w/her cereal Jes.
Her ped told me that she is to be drinking a minimum of 20 oz of form per day, so with her 8oz bottle in the am, plus her 6-7 oz bottle in the pm along with her 5oz bottle that I give her before her nap...... I don't want her to lose out w/the 4oz that I give her in the cereal. With all that she only gets around 22 or 23oz.
Her ped wants her on 3 meals a day, but I can't fit it into her tummy yet w/o sacrificing ounces.....
I would continue to go ahead w/the BM in his cereal.

Gotcha! I don't know.... if it's not too much trouble for you, I wouldn't stop giving the BM in the cereal..... it can't hurt him.... KWIM?

I just stopped giving Nina BM with her cereal (since im out of frozen) and now I give her formula with it. But since I see so many moms are now giving cereal with water, I think Im going to switch now

Not too much trouble but I feel like one of my pumping session is soley just to have milk to mix - water would be a little easier! I tested this a.m. and he took 3tbsp rice w/ water and a jar of food no problem (actually looking for more so we're probably ready for Stage 2)
