When did you stop using a highchair?
My 18 m/o DD shakes her head and says no every time I try to put her in her highchair for meals. So we have let her start eating at her little table but then she gets up and runs around after a few bites.
What age did you stop using the high chair and where does your DC eat instead?

We alternate b/w the highchair (18 mo. DS is really too large for it now) and a booster seat attached to a regular chair. He seems to prefer the booster seat (I think it makes him feel more grown up!).

I still use a high chair for my 3.5 yr old and my 2 yr old....It is so much easier for meals....it is all contained to the tray!

Re: When did you stop using a highchair?
Around a year we switched our DD from the Chicco highchair to the FP Space Saver highchair and this way we could pull her right up to the table so she could eat with us. About a month ago (my DD is now 2) we got rid of the FP highchair and bought her the Cooshee booster. It's a foamy booster and it sits right on the regular kitchen chairs. She LOVES it!!!

Re: When did you stop using a highchair?
DS never used a high chair.
We used the FP booster seat from day 1.
When he was around 2 we stopped using the tray and just put him in the booster at the table. A couple of months later we did away with the booster as well and now he sits on a chair at the table.
