When did you start "showing?"
I was at work today and one of the workers from another department says to me "You still don't look pregnant"..
Ummm ok, make me feel like crap why dont you. Then proceeded to ask "When is this baby due"? Everythings good? YOu had sonos?
Too bad I couldnt hall off and punch her one. Maybe I shouldn't even be upset. But she scared the crap out of me.
Im 16 weeks (going on 17 this Thurs). I went to dr. last Tues. and was up 8lbs so I know Im gaining.
Lets remember, Im a "big" girl to begin with. But come on, she ruined my afteroon.

I don't understand people the minute you get your bfp people expect you to have a belly immediately and then when you do start showing they start telling you how huge you are!

I started showing at 16 but am way bigger at 25. Everyones gonna comment on everything you do for the upcoming weeks...be prepared....thats why you have us...lol

It really depended on what I was wearing, but I don't think I really started showing until I was approx. 18-20 weeks.
Don't let people like that get to you. Next thing you know, people will be saying that you're too big and ask you if you're having twins!!

Please don't listen to other people, you'll go nuts! Don't worry when I was 16 weeks I didn't look pregnant either except after I ate I really didn't start showing until about 2 weeks ago and I am 20 weeks now.

I am sooo tired of hearing this- I finally started to show a bit and I am at 20 weeks this Friday. It made me so scared whenever anyone would say you don't even look pregnant. But then I had the Level 2 sono and the doc said she looked perfect. I now whip out this fact when they ask me if everything is "fine".

i got that a lot too... i think people think it's a "compliment" b/c they mean to say you're carrying well...
i started showing just a few weeks ago and i'm going on 23 weeks this weekend... i'm just starting to pop out underneath my scrubs at work.

Honestly, I started showing early on. I am not exactly sure how far along I am (between 8-11 weeks) and I am showing. My regular clothes don't fit me anymore
People are nuts, try not to let it bother you

I showed really early as well. By 12 weeks, I was in full on maternity clothes. Most of it was bloat, though. I would say at around 18-20 weeks, there was no mistaking that I was preggo.
Everyone is different. Don't listen to people. THey just need something to say to hear themselves speak.

People are HORRIBLE!! I just started showing and I will be 25 weeks this week. People were saying the same things to me for a long time and it really bothered me. Now I just ignore them and walk away!!

I don't think its the wow- you don't even look pregnant, you look great- its those that insinuate there is something wrong with the baby since you are showing yet. I love those who tell me you don't even look that pregnant, don't get me wrong! I don't like people who get this worried look on their face and ask me when I am due, is everything ok, etc. COME ON- scare a new mommy to be why don't ya!
