When did you start planning the first birthday party
Jack is 6 1/2 months. I know the party will be at the house - but should I start looking into activities and such. Maybe even a theme?
I already know the date (his birthday falls on a Saturday)
When do I really start this? I love to plan parties - but not sure when it's too soon to start.

I started about 2 weeks ago and now all this talk about birthdays has me ready to go again.
I love planning parties too and I am finding this to be so much fun!

Connor's is in June, too. It's been in that back of my mind. Trying to decide if we should have a party in the yard or at a restaurant. I'm so scared it will rain if we go with a home party.

Gracie's is in July & DH already reserved the date w/ family & we thought about the theme...
We'll be having ours in our yard but w/ about 80 people

I started 2 months ahead. I had it in my backyard so it wasn't as if I had to book a restaurant or anything.

I wish DS's birthday was in the summer so we can have a backyard party but he is in April so we are having it at a hall. I started planning a couple of months ago.

Before they were born.
  About 4 months before I started thinking about. My friend booked her DD's 3rd birthday party this past weekend - and her birthday is in July! 
But the sooner the better - before you know it, his big day will be here!

We booked it right after Christmas and it will be in Februrary. We are going to be low-key so we didn't need to prepare a lot.

THe month before. Seriously, it was going to be at our house, I was cooking and it was just family. No big entertainment, just a nice day overall.

I had 2 parties..one with my cousins kids and friends kids and another one with the entire family!
For the kids party, I did the carnival theme and had the entertainment, carnival game booths, cotton candy. For the family party, it was all about the food
I started to plan it in June and his party was on his actual birthday, 9/22

Sofia's bday is Dec 13..
I just booked the hall today bc a Sat in Dec will be HARD...
I already decided on centerpieces and favors....
I like to plan plan plan...

Same, except I didn't cook, we brought in pizza. I did make 2 cakes for it though.

For DD#1 I'd say I started planning 2 months ahead.
This time, I am already stressing out since the guest list is 100 people (last time we had 2 parties--one with my niece and family) so, I need to either find a place or figure out a way to fit 100 people in my house if it rains! Grrrrr....!!! So...4 months in advance

we are going this weekend to my brothers restaurant to go over everything and set a date. I am doing it this early b/c we have to book a flight for my grandparents to come in for it.

Julia's b-day is in July, I started planning it around May. You really don't need that much time, its pretty easy to do.

Yep i have decided on the baby einstein theme and I think the party will be at a park or at my MIL's house in the backyard.
